We used to score in our Science test. Apa taknya - the boys would have their test in the morning dan disebelsh tengaharinya kita pulak.
Soalan bocor!
The boys will passed the question to us. There were a lot of fight between the Convent and TIGS girls over a few GES boys. The boys are good in sports and in senilukis. Those I could remember was Ho Chee Pong - sports and Arif Nun -senilukis.
But the thing I cherished most was the class "Budi Utama". The free tuition class given by some good samaritan. The teachers namely Pn.Inom Yon, the late Tn.Hj.Mohd.Diah, Mr.Gorbax Singh, Mr.Engineer (not his real name).
Dikelas itu ada tertulis - "Education is a passport to better living". A handful of pelajar-pelajar Melayu and a few En.gu sekolah attened the free tuition class. I could recall a particular Malay teacher - setiap kali ada maths. problem bila kena turn dia jawab (jawabnya sama aja) dia dengan selambanya menjawab - "Darab Bersilang". Entah betul ka tidak - itulah jawabnya. Akhir sekali we called him - Cikgu darab bersilang. Lulus pulak tu SPM.
Aduhai Cikgu darab bersilang.
